Class Descriptions

 

Pilates Mat:
This group mat class teaches the exercises and principles created by Joseph Pilates. For over 80 years, Joe’s method has improved our quality of life. We stick to his system – why mess with the best!


Pilates Circuit:
A multi-level Circuit Class is a 55 minute session filled with variety. Each class will be different, but may incorporate use of the Mat, Tower, Reformer, Chairs and Magic Circles.


Xtend Ballet Barre:
Xtend™ is the most effective barre workout and the most efficient way to create a strong and healthy body at any age. Using a series of isometric exercises and orthopedic stretches, the system focuses on sculpting the body proportionally so that it is equally challenged. The end result? A long and lean physique… without added bulk. Developed from a dance-background, you’ll enjoy the workout of a dancer and begin to feel and look like a dancer.

 

Zumba:
Zumba fuses hypnotic latin rhythms and easy to follow dance moves to create a dynamic fitness program that will blow you away. Zumba enthusiasts achieve long term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exhilarating hour of caloric burning, body energizing movements. The routine features interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Zumba appeals to men and women of all ages and fitness levels.

 

Yoga:
Yoga is a healing system of theory and practice. It is a combination of breathing exercises, physical postures, and meditation that has been practiced for more than 5,000 years. It promotes discipline and control of the body and mind.

Children’s Ballet:
Children's Ballet offers young bodies and minds discipline, coordination, flexibility, and strength. Ballet is an excellent introduction into the dance world, whether your child has a passion for dance or an interest in a non-competitive and fun after-school activity. Children's Ballet is for you!
